War Staff

Aundair developed this staff to help wandslingers match the range of Thrane archers, but it quickly spread across Khorvaire. While holding it in both hands, you can use it as an Arcane Focus. Any cantrip cast using the staff can be cast at up to four times the standard range. However, when you cast a cantrip at more than twice the standard range, your attack rolls have Disadvantage, and targets have Advantage on saving throws made against your cantrip. For example, a Fire Bolt cast using the staff has a range of 480 feet, but attack rolls against targets more than 240 feet away are made at Disadvantage.
